Okay, maybe scary is too strong a word for this selection of Halloween Candy, but it is available for a limited time. Marcela and I are typically minding our own business when one of these limited-time candies or snacks shows up on a regular shopping trip to CVS, Target, Walgreens, or Walmart.
From there, it only spirals into sugary madness as we actively search for one without which we can’t live. The problem is that it’s sold out everywhere unless you’re as persistent as we are.
If you’re at the expert level like us, wait for the Halloween Candy clearance sales the day after the holiday. But I have a few suggestions if you want to stay and do your shopping online now, which isn’t entirely a bad idea.
The easiest way to order is from the Walmart, Target, or Amazon sites. Everyone has their credit card information saved, and your candy comes in a few clicks. Believe it or not, eBay is another excellent source to track down those hard-to-find Halloween candies.
I cheated with the Halloween Candy from time to time; I included an Orange Oreo, which only differs in color, not taste. The Oreo cookie itself comes in five different Halloween designs.
